Just when we thought the real estate market could not get any tighter, the end of the year numbers confirm what we have been feeling. San Francisco ended the year with a 17.7% one year change in the median sales price for all property types, surpassing 2013's 11.0% increase. Condominium price gains overtook single family homes this year, boasting a 25% one year increase as more buyers turn to condos to combat the lack of single family home inventory.
